The quarterly bulletin seeks to assess food stock levels, pattern of drawdowns of grain stocks (Maize, Millet, Sorghum, Rice, Soyabean, Groundnut and Cowpea) in households and markets in the AGRA Zone of Interest (ZOI) in Northern Ghana. Cereals and legumes serve as staple food and cash crops in many households in the ZOI. As such, accurate knowledge of the quantity of grain stocks, drawdowns in households, as well as volumes and prices of grain stocks in markets is crucial for policy formulation on food security.
